Terms & Conditions (Hotel Raphkhang)
Welcome to Hotel Raphkhang. By accessing our website, making a reservation, or staying at our property, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all guests staying at Hotel Raphkhang, Darjeeling. The management reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Reservations & Booking
- All bookings are subject to room availability.
- Reservations may be confirmed via phone, website, email, or third-party booking platforms.
- The hotel reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings in case of incorrect pricing, technical errors, or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Check-In & Check-Out Policy
- Check-in Time: From 2:00 PM
- Check-out Time: By 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
- Guests arriving before check-in time may store luggage at the reception, subject to availability.
4. Identification Requirements
- All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID).
- PAN cards are not accepted as valid ID.
- The hotel reserves the right to deny accommodation if valid ID proof is not provided.
5. Payment Policy
- Full payment must be made at the time of check-in unless otherwise agreed in advance.
- Accepted payment modes include cash, UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and online bank transfers.
- All applicable taxes are charged as per government regulations.
6. Cancellation, Modification & No-Show Policy
- Free cancellation is allowed up to 48 hours prior to the check-in date.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival will incur a 50% cancellation charge.
- No-shows will be charged 100% of the booking amount.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–10 working days through the original mode of payment.
(Cancellation policies may vary for peak season, special offers, or OTA bookings.)
7. Room Occupancy
- Room tariffs are based on standard occupancy.
- Extra guests or additional bedding may incur extra charges as per hotel policy.
- The hotel reserves the right to deny entry to unregistered guests.
8. Guest Conduct & Behaviour
- Guests are expected to maintain respectful behavior and comply with hotel rules.
- Any illegal activities, loud disturbances, or misconduct may result in immediate eviction without refund.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in non-smoking rooms and common areas unless designated.
9. Damage & Loss Policy
- Guests will be held responsible for any damage to hotel property, furnishings, or equipment caused during their stay.
- Charges for repair or replacement will be levied accordingly.
- The hotel is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings. Guests are advised to take care of their valuables.
10. Safety & Security
- Guests must adhere to all safety instructions displayed on the premises.
- Tampering with fire alarms, CCTV systems, or safety equipment is strictly prohibited.
- The hotel reserves the right to inspect luggage or rooms in case of safety or security concerns.
11. Pets Policy
- Pets are allowed only with prior approval from the management and may be subject to additional charges.
- The hotel reserves the right to refuse pets without prior confirmation.
12. Force Majeure
Hotel Raphkhang shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government regulations, strikes, or unforeseen emergencies.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Darjeeling, West Bengal.
